I think I should explain my edits. The car in the picture is definitely a '68. The side marker light in the front fender is a giveaway--they became federal standard in '68. Also, my recollection is that the Car of the Year award for '77 was for the Caprice, not the Impala, and the Wiki COTY article supports this. RivGuySC 02:38, 9 Jul 2004 (UTC)

Needs an impala SS picture, the only living continuation of the Caprice Classic's body style. Thepcnerd 03:44, 30 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Impala SS section

[edit]

The section for the SS sits between the fourth- and fifth-generation sections, but covers both. Would it make more sense to move this section to the end, or split it between the two generation sections? --Sable232 (talk) 14:33, 8 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Man from UNCLE 1959 Impala?/1960 rear photo?

[edit]

I remember as a kid definitely having a small toy 1959 Impala, maybe a Man from UNCLE version, that part I can't say definitely? It would be nice to have a rear view of a 1960 on here, it's a very distinctive look and worth giving readers the visual knowledge. Middle More Rider (talk) 14:52, 4 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
